It’s been a little (long) while since I’ve shared a post with you guys, but hopefully this one is worth the wait! If you missed me blowing up Instagram, I recently celebrated my lifelong bestie girl’s bachelorette weekend in Nashville, TN. There are seriously no words for how much fun we had. Being her lucky MOH, I got to plan everything. I took a few things I learned from hosting this bachelorette weekend in Charleston and others I’ve attended throughout the year and kept our itinerary light – a.k.a. the only thing I decided beforehand was dinner and that we were going on a pedal tavern tour.
- Pink Basket
- Wifey Tee
- Crown Headband
- Cowgirl Hat w/ Veil
- Bride to Be Sash
- I’m The Bride Button
- Nashville Canvas Bag (5×7)
- Custom Cup (I created the design & Linda printed them for me!)
- Confetti Wand
- I’m Getting Hitched Koozie
- Cowboy Boot Shot Glass
- Team Bride Cups
- Truth or Dare Coasters
- Adult Mad Libs
- Gold Fringe Straws
- Pecker Straws
- XOXO Napkins – T.J. Maxx
- Ring + Champagne Confetti
I always have champagne, beer and a cocktail ready when everyone arrives. After a 4+ hour drive (if you’ve heard about the bridge collapse in Atlanta, that ‘+’ means some girls drove 8 hours), the first thing you want is a drink to relax. I love throwing the lingerie shower the first night because it’s a fun way to kick things off and get everyone in the celebration (party) spirit. Tori opened her lingerie, we took lots of pictures, laughed a lot, then dressed up to head out.
(Oh how I wish it was appropriate to share our completed Mad Libs with you. We were hysterically laughing, you have to play with your girls.)
- Ring Balloons
- Champagne Balloons (Large | Small)
- Boas (4 of Each – White | Pink | Orange | Magenta)
- Yay Balloon
- Bachelorette Banner
If you only do one thing listed in this entire post, do a pedal tour! We did the 6pm SoBro tour, which dropped us on Broadway in perfect timing to hit the bars. It’s BYOB and you stop at different bars with drink specials along the way. We were matched with a bachelor party and they definitely took care of us.
I still have a few battle wounds… who knew heels aren’t proper peddling footwear? Oh well, I think the joy in our pictures validates that it was worth it.
We killed a little bit of time during the day exploring the city. There are the cutest wall murals along the way and fun shops to stop in. The only thing I purchased was a cowboy boot shot glass for my brother-in-law, thoughtful or weird? This article shares a few of my favorite walls, including the two above.
As much as I’d love to list our favorites spot to go at night for you, we found Crazy Town our first night and never strayed. It has three stories, each with bands/a dj playing different styles of music. We hung in the middle with the country band. We obnoxiously sang every word to every song and danced the entire night. Lots of friends were made as well, love southern hospitality.
How could I not share these two goofs with you? We ran into a group of 20+ obnoxiously happy guys and loved every second of it. We also want to know whose girlfriend was sweet enough to plan matching shirts for them.
Pinewood Social (Bowling Alley!)
*Disclaimer: We actually went to Proper Bagel and Sun Diner… but might have skipped a few meals amongst our excitement. These are the places we planned to go. (This is why I don’t plan a detailed weekend anymore.)
Hope I helped spark some ideas for you! Nashville has been such a popular bachelorette spot this year and I can’t wait to go back. I was on a high the entire time we were there. What cute city. Have a great week!
