Can we PLEASE just stop everything we’re doing to talk about these leggings? Y’all know how much I appreciate cute workout gear, but Lucy takes it to a whole different level. These crops not only make me feel like the gym B.A., but they fit perfectly as well. I have shared my love for running with you before, but my workouts for the past few months have focused on weightlifting. Let me tell you, there’s nothing pretty about your pants sliding down when you do a squat girlfriend. Thankfully, the waist band has grippers that keep them in place, no matter how much you sweat (which is a lot in my case).
I adore the matching sports bra almost as much as I do the crops. It has a ton of support and doesn’t move around when you do. I used to buy whatever workout clothes I could find at T.J. Maxx to just get the job done, and although I’ll forever be a Maxxinista, you just can’t beat quality gear. This apparel breathes well and you aren’t constantly pulling on soggy clothes to fix yourself during cardio.
I’m clearly a firm believer of investing in the right exercise apparel. Look good, feel good! It’s no joke that a cute new gym outfit makes you a lot more confident when you hit the weight room than an oversized t-shirt and Nike running shorts. It’s finally time to leave our college uniform behind us for good (just kidding, only in the gym).
My favorite leg day workout (w/ a little cardio mixed in):
- 2 pulse squats, 1 jump (repeat) 3×30 seconds
- Squat jumps on aerobic box (4 risers each) 3×30 seconds
- Leg extension machine superset w/ weighted lunges 3×12
- Leg press 3×12
- Stepper machine for 30 minutes (keep level above 8)
